Pastor Paul Carlson, a 1981 RHEMA BibleTraining Center graduate, has been in full-time ministry since 1982. He is a licensed, ordained minister who maintains a membership with the RHEMA Ministerial Association International. Pastor Paul has also graduated from Life Christian University with a Masters Degree in Theology.
Paul and his wife, Dana, began ministry together by overseeing Light Bible Training Center in Port au Prince, Haiti. There Paul taught students the Word of God for two years.
Returning to the United States, they served for twelve years as associate pastors at Living Waters Christian Church in Hopkins, Minnesota. The doors of Liberty Christian Center opened on October 1, 2000, as Pastors Paul & Dana obeyed the call that God had put in their hearts to start a church in Menomonie,Wisconsin.
The Carlsons have been married since 1985, and have two daughters, Kara and Casi. In the summer of 2011 they added a son to their family when Kara married Steven Keller.
Our vision is to impact our community and beyond with the powerful and life changing message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We purpose to help people to grow in their faith and find power for living through applicable teaching of God's Word. We are called to teach people who they are in Christ and build a healthy church family who will Love God, Love People & Love Life!
What can I expect from a service?
We are aware that going to a church for the first time can be an intimidating experience for some. Here at Liberty you can expect a casual and loving atmosphere, in which you can grow with us in our understanding of who we are In Christ. The messages are relevant applications of Biblical truths to everyday living. We love to meet new people, so come on out any Sunday at 10:30 a.m. :)

We have ministry options for every age! Children at Liberty provides a safe and fun atmosphere for your kids during the service. This provides the opportunity for your child to receive age appropriate minsitry as well as for you to partake in the service worry free! Click here for more information.

The goal of this group is to create an addiction in women for the Word, and more importantly for knowing God intimately. As we explore the Word together, we believe that the Holy Spirit will speak to our hearts and transmit the supernatural revelation we need as women of God to operate victoriously in this life.
We love children here at Liberty Christian Center, and it's our desire to see them shine in their homes, schools, and beyond. Our goal is through teaching and reflecting God's love and His Word, the children at Liberty would come to know Jesus as their lifelong friend and He would shine brightly in their lives. We purpose that each precious child would know, THEY ARE STARS! Has God's healing power passed away? As we study God's Word on healing, we find He still heals spirit, soul, body. The power of God is present today to heal and deliver you. Jesus paid the price for the whole man. It's our redemption. If you are in need of healing or desire to grow in your faith for divine health, this class is for you. Healing school meets Monday mornings at 10am.
Pure Desire is a small group that meets for those who struggle with pornography. This group purposes to break free from the bondage of this problem, and live in the freedom Jesus Christ provides.
We believe in the power of prayer. John Wesley is quoted as saying, "It seems God can do nothing on the earth except a man prays." Somehow it opens a door for God to move when we take our place in prayer. It is important to pray as individuals and also come together corporately and touch heaven and change earth. Join us Sunday mornings at 10 am and Wednesday evenings at 7 pm at LCC.
A casual get together for fellowship and discussion of Gods Word. Our goal is to provide a safe place for youth to connect and be encouraged in their faith. This is for any youth grades 6-12. Youth Group meets Wednesday evenings at 7pm.
Young adults is a ministry group that gets together and discusses applicable truths of the Gospel. We know that there are a lot of decisions to be made in this chapter of life, and we discuss how to pull on God throughout all of them.
